Flower essences work on the subtle body. The rest of our apothecary works on the physical one. Our honeys, oils and salves are made slowly in small kitchen batches, with herbs from our garden and plants gathered respectfully from the Sonoran desert.
Herbal honeys
Raw honey is a medicine on its own, and it carries herbs beautifully. Summer Citrus Honey is bright and warming for throat comfort, circulation and mood. Holiday Honey is our deep winter jar for immune fortification and digestive fire. Golden Breath Honey pairs respiratory and allergy support with nervous system and anti inflammatory herbs, which makes it a favorite through desert pollen season.
Herbal oils
Our oils are infused in olive oil, most of them under the sun. Creosote Oil, which smells like desert rain, is strongly antimicrobial and antifungal and traditionally used for joint and muscle pain. Ashwagandha Oil is a nourishing adaptogenic body oil for stress and fatigue. Brittlebush Oil is gentle enough for sensitive skin and has a long history for pain and irritation. Ironwood Oil is our grounding oil for deep tissue and muscle recovery.
Salves
Golden Moon Salve is the working salve for sore, stiff bodies. Comfrey, arnica and white willow bark ease soreness and bruising, cayenne, ginger, rosemary and camphor move blood to tense areas, and turmeric and lavender calm inflammation, all carried in olive oil, shea butter and beeswax. Monsoon Moon Balm is made for desert skin: cracked hands, windburn, sun stress and the wear of outdoor life.
